Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on for a while because I've been a bit busy lately. Between work, the fire service, the band, recording bass tracks for Engine 11, and my daughter, who takes TOP PRIORITY it's hard to find the time to get on here as often as I used to.
I have also been hearing about and experiencing a lot of problems with this new DM format. Personally, I think it SUCKS. My video links are gone on my DTW page, and at times the music won't stream.
I think the admins (with ALL due respect) should have gone to the artists via forum and tried a trial period and take a vote on changing the format instead of just taking it upon themselves to just change it.
So I will be checking in from time to time but won't be on often. Take care and keep on rocking!!!

They did run it past the subscribers before going "live". But I guess a lot of things have been raised by non-subscribers since the redesign. There have definitely been a lot of teething problems, but if there have been any specific problems Jack has been on the case very quickly and solved things. There are a few complications regarding navigation that will appear to be confusing to visitors rather than members - but DM are still open to ideas and this is a constantly changing site. If you have any specific problems they have a new, all singing, all dancing Help Desk now and...it works!! 
Your problems with things disappearing are because they are using BB coding rather than html now. If you want to link to your video again ask Victorsskull because he's done it successfully recently on his net page. If you want anythinbg changed asked the admins...so long as they've been fed most of them are quite friendly and helpful

I want to retract that statement about the Help Desk working..and a few other positive statements I just made. Jury's out!

It's very similar to html, they seem to use these [ ] instead of these

OK...I admit it...we suck at the moment. But myspace, garageband, songramp, soundclick et al all suck a lot more - there's limited space, they don't allow uploads at higher bit rates, there's less page control, they don't allow covers, their URL isn't as good AND they don't have nice ppl like they do here!  So you're stuck here with the rest of us whether you like it or not!

Well atleast for the moment if I went to one of those sites I would be able to stream the music there. As for for right now I can't stream ANYTHING on this site
