Great! I heard New Year on Soundclick - there's a link to it there. Looking forward to hearing the song with bass on it! Didn't know about Aphid...sounds interesting! I keep saying to Ron that if either of you don't like the collab when I've finished with it, just bin it and we'll try something else. I wouldn't be offended if we didn't go ahead with that particular one. It's always difficult to know what kind of song will suit all tastes, so it's best to fiddle around until everyone is happy with the end result.

Yep...you can always find a wind instrumentalist when people have been eating brussel sprouts   Hols were ok, but glad it's all over with to be honest - nothing but cooking and entertaining. I prefer to be working on my songs! Almost got the collab done. I've been trying it in different keys - Audacity free software is great for doing that - I can easily change the whole song to a different key to see how it sounds, then overdub a new lead vocal - great fun!

Hiya! Just dropping in to leave a news item - Apparently the Foo Fighters are looking for unsigned instrumentalists to play with them at the Grammys! Trouble is, you have to be a violin, cello or woodwind player. It's far too long since I tried to play a cello!  Howz you today?

It couldn't have happened at a worse time, but I know they're working on it, in spite of weekends and holidays... I hope it will be soon, but I hear nothing on the grapevine. There's going to be a lot of catching up to do when it is operational again, though!

Ray, from what I understand, all the files are intact-- you shouldn't need to reupload anything, but until we get the music server working and/or replaced, the music just won't work. And if I knew anything more than what Jack already said in the forum, I'd tell you. But that's all I know, too.
